In GO TRANSFER DR We process your personal data solely to provide you with the transportation service you have contracted and to respond to your inquiries. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, with whom we share it, and how you can exercise your rights.

We applied the Law No. 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data of the Dominican Republic and, for visitors in the European Union, the principles of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679).

2. What data do we collect

2.1 Data that you provide to us

  • Transfer details: Pick-up and destination location, date and time, number of passengers and type of trip (one way, round trip or hourly service).
  • Passenger contact details: name, email and phone or WhatsApp; and, where applicable, flight number and arrival time, hotel or destination address, baggage and any special instructions you provide.
  • Contact form: name, email address and the message you are sending us.
  • Direct communications: the content of the messages you exchange with us via WhatsApp, email or phone.

2.2 Data that is collected automatically

  • IP address, device type, browser, and language.
  • Pages visited, time spent on the site, and the page or ad from which the user arrived at the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Details are available in our Cookies policy.

3. What we use your data for and on what legal basis

  • Manage and provide the contracted transfer, assign the vehicle and driver — contract execution.
  • Confirm the booking, coordinate the pickup, and notify you of any changes. — contract execution.
  • Monitor the flight to adjust the collection time in case of delay — contract execution.
  • Process the payment and issue the receipt or invoice — execution of the contract and legal obligation.
  • Handling inquiries, quotes, and complaints received through the form, email or WhatsApp — legitimate interest in responding to those who write to us.
  • Comply with tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
  • Measure website usage and improve the service — consent (analytical cookies) and legitimate interest.
  • Sending you promotions or offers — only if you authorize it; you can withdraw that consent at any time.

4. Payments

Online payments are processed through PayPal Checkoutwhich allows you to pay with a PayPal account or with a credit or debit card. We also offer a local payment link in Dominican pesos (RD$) issued by our acquiring bank.

In both cases, your card details are entered directly into the payment processor platform: GO TRANSFER DR does not see, receive, or store your full card number or security code.We only receive confirmation of the transaction (status, amount, currency and reference) to associate it with your reservation.

5. With whom we share your data

We only share the data that is strictly necessary and only with:

  • Associated drivers and operators who carry out the transfer: name, telephone, flight, pick-up point and destination.
  • PayPal and the acquiring bank, to process the payment.
  • Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Maps), for the operation and measurement of the site.
  • Trustindex / Google, when you decide to publish a public review about our service.
  • Our web hosting and email providers, who act as data processors.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose that channel to communicate with us.
  • Competent authorities, when there is a legal obligation to do so.

We do not sell your personal data. Nor do we give them to third parties to advertise on their own behalf.

6. International Transfers

We operate in the Dominican Republic and the United States, and some of our technology providers are located outside these countries. Where the GDPR applies, these transfers are covered by the safeguards offered by the providers themselves (standard contractual clauses or equivalent adequacy frameworks).

7. How long do we keep your data?

We retain your booking details for as long as a business relationship exists and, afterwards, for the tax and accounting retention periods required to maintain billing records. Inquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted when they are no longer needed to assist you.

8. Your rights

You can request, at any time:

  • Access to the data we have about you.
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Suppression of your data, when it is no longer needed.
  • Opposition either limitation of the treatment.
  • Portability from the data you have provided us.
  • Withdraw your consent for commercial communications.

To exercise these rights, write to us at info@gotransferdr.com indicating in the subject "Data protection"We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, you can also file a complaint with your country's supervisory authority; in the Dominican Republic, with the competent authority in accordance with Law No. 172-13.

9. Security

The site operates over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to booking data is restricted to staff who need to know it to provide the service. No system is infallible, but we implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

10. Minors

This site is not intended for minors, and we do not collect data from minors directly. Reservations are always made by an adult, who provides the details of all passengers, including any minors traveling with them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
